Irwin is a performer at heart, and is no stranger to performing on stage.
Some of his achievements include:
- Being crowned 1st runner-up for StarHub Sunsilk Academy Fantasia 2012.
- Representing Singapore for TVB (HK) International Chinese New Talent Singing Championship in the year 2014
- Clinching Top 8 at The Voice SG/MY 2017, and have the privilege to be coached by Taiwanese Singer-songwriter, Sky Wu (伍思凯).
- In 2018, Irwin participated in a nationwide song writing competition: SG:SW 2018 and was awarded “The Best Performance Award”.
